Peter graduated from Bristol University as a Dentist before undergoing his undergraduate medical training in Scotland. After training in general surgery, Peter's interest in anatomy and human form led him to pursue a distinguished career in reconstructive facial surgery. For the past twenty years Peter has practiced as an NHS Consultant specialising in reconstructive facial surgery after cancer treatment and traumatic disfigurement. Peter is a recognised specialist in Skull Base surgery and facial prosthetics (including implants). Peter has an interest and an expertise in managing jaw and mouth problems in children. As a member of the infant feeding team, Peter provides advice and treatment for mouth related feeding problems in the new born including Tongue Tie. With a personal series approaching 1500 neonatal / infant ‘tongue tie’ surgical divisions and a not inconsiderable number of older children and adult treatments, I consider myself to be a leading authority on the subject.

Peter has a passion for rugby union football and considers himself fortunate to literally mix business with pleasure. A former player he maintains his involvement in this sport at international level. A senior
medical educator for 'World Rugby' and the RFU; Head of Sports Medicine for Georgia Rugby with his own rehabilitation clinic in the capital city, Tbilisi; two Rugby World Cups as team doctor for Georgia (2011) and Romania (2015); former Team Doctor with England U18; over twenty years experience managing elite athletes and looking after touring teams; planning and executing medical services for major sporting events including the Olympic Games in London 2012.
